The Surgical Technologist program is designed to instruct in all phases of Surgical Technology. Upon completion, the graduate can effectively work as a Surgical Technologist, with and under the supervision of surgeons or registered nurses and become an integral part of the team providing care to patients during the crucial periods of surgery. Graduates of the Surgical Technologist program will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science degree upon successful completion of all graduation requirements listed in this catalog.
